Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Voice Cloning & Audio Rights

The Service lets you upload voice samples and generate speech. By uploading any audio, including voice samples used to create voice clones, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the audio or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use it with the Service.
• If the audio contains the voice of a real, identifiable person, you have obtained that person's explicit consent to clone and use their voice, or you are legally authorized to do so.
• You will not clone the voice of any person without their permission, including public figures, celebrities, or private individuals.
• You will not use the Service to create content that impersonates a person in a way that is deceptive, fraudulent, defamatory, or harmful, or that is otherwise illegal.

You are solely responsible for the audio you upload and the speech you generate. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

• Create content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, or hateful.
• Impersonate individuals or misrepresent the source of generated speech.
• Create disinformation, deepfakes, or content intended to deceive others into believing cloned voices are genuine.
• Generate speech that violates the rights of others, including intellectual property or publicity rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Resell, redistribute, or provide access to the Service in a way that competes with us, unless permitted by a separate agreement.

4. Ownership

You retain all rights in the text and audio you upload. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service and to use the audio generated for you. Generated audio may be used for commercial purposes on applicable paid plans; free plans may have usage limitations described on our pricing page.

The Service itself, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by AlphaTTS or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

5. AI-Generated Content

Audio generated by the Service is created by artificial intelligence and may contain imperfections. We make no guarantee that generated audio is error-free or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing generated audio before publishing or distributing it, and for disclosing its AI-generated nature where required by law.

6. Subscriptions, Quotas & Billing

Some features, such as generation limits, voice clone limits, or queue priority, may vary by plan. We may update plan limits from time to time, but we will not reduce the benefits of a paid plan during an active subscription period. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlphaTTS and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AlphaTTS and its employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your uploaded content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we suspect unlawful or abusive activity, or as required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AlphaTTS is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
